Lappish BBQ lunch, featuring sausages, Lappish bread, marshmallows, and hot blueberry juice,

Perfect day

I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Korouoma blew me away. The scale and beauty of the frozen waterfalls are something you just have to see in person. The hike itself was peaceful, and the guide gave us plenty of time to take photos. Bring warm clothes—it’s chilly but so worth it!

Awesome place

Korouoma’s frozen waterfalls are a hidden gem. The hike wasn’t too challenging, and the views were stunning from start to finish. Seeing the waterfalls completely frozen was surreal, and the quietness of the place made it even more special. Don’t miss this if you’re in Lapland!
