Spend a full day immersed in Arctic nature, far from the crowds. Try traditional ice fishing on a frozen lake, explore Arctic forests on a guided hike, and learn how to make a fire in the wild while enjoying a BBQ lunch surrounded by pure silence.
For generations, life in Lapland has been shaped by nature — slow, simple, and deeply connected to the land. This experience is designed to give you a glimpse of that lifestyle, where time moves differently and the focus is on presence rather than speed. Your guide will also share interesting insights about Lapland’s nature, wildlife, and local traditions, giving you a deeper understanding of life in the Arctic.
During the day, you’ll also carve your own traditional kuksa (wooden cup), a symbol of northern culture once used daily by locals, and take it home as a meaningful souvenir.
In summer, ice fishing is replaced with berry picking in the forest, following another long-standing local tradition and offering a different but equally authentic way to connect with nature.
Slow down, disconnect from the noise, and experience the quiet beauty and simplicity of real Arctic life.
