Step away from crowded tourist spots and enjoy a small-group visit to a real reindeer farm, run by a local Lappish family.

You’ll be welcomed by the farmer and introduced to their reindeers, learning how they are raised, cared for, and why they are central to life in Lapland.

After the farm visit, you’ll sit down for a traditional homemade Lappish dinner, prepared by the farmer’s family using local ingredients. The meal is the most traditional dish in Lapland: sautéed reindeer meat with mashed potatoes (Poronkäristys ja perunamuusi), served with bread and homemade beer. For dessert, you’ll enjoy a homemade blueberry pie with tea or coffee.

Dinner is served inside a traditional old Lappish house, where the farmer will explain the history of the building, everyday tools, and how people lived in Lapland in the past. During the visit, you’ll also go to the reindeer fence, meet the animals up close, and feed the reindeer.

This experience focuses on authenticity, culture, and simplicity — no crowds, no rushed schedules, just real people and real food.

Cancellation Policy: The booking can be cancelled for free up to 30 days before departure.

Additional notes:

• For groups with fewer than 5 participants, transportation may be arranged in a standard 5-seater vehicle instead of a minivan.

• A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to be operated (4 participants on Sundays and National Holidays). If the minimum is not met, the tour may be cancelled, and you will receive a full refund.
